Baking: Pretty Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

What You'll Need:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
8 tablespoons of  butter, melted and cooled
6 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, melted and cooled
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 package of  chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Melt butter and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl (be careful this melts fast!) Cool completely.

Mix the flour and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.

In a different bowl, mix the cooled butter/peanut butter and sugars.  Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and stir until mixed. (Stir with a spoon, no need for a mixer)

Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.

 My favorite part...Add chocolate chips.

Shape the dough into a ball the size of a golf ball.

Place on a baking sheet two inches apart and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are slightly brown. (You can decide on how long you want the cookies in the oven. The original recipe says 10-12 minutes, but those came out too doughy to me but you may like doughy cookies)

Let cool a minute or two before taking them off the cookie sheet to a cooling rack.

Mmmmmmm...

These are so easy to bake! Try um, you'll be glad you did.
